+ Integrations & Automation Rules Overview

Capturing high-quality first-party data is only half the battle. To truly drive revenue and streamline your workflows, you need to seamlessly route that data into the tools your marketing and sales teams already use every single day.

Bread & Butter's Automation Engine allows you to instantly transmit your captured lead data to your CRMs, email platforms, and internal communication tools.

How the Automation Engine Works

Our automation structure is built around three simple, easy-to-manage concepts:

  • 1. The Event (The "What"): You use an Event (either a default System Event or a Custom Event) to define exactly what user action your organization is interested in tracking. (Example: A visitor successfully visits a page or submits a lead capture form on your website).
  • 2. The Integration (The "Where"): You configure an Integration to establish a secure connection between Bread & Butter and your preferred third-party application. (Example: Connecting to your company's Slack workspace or your HubSpot CRM).
  • 3. The Integration Rule (The "When"): You add an Integration Rule to act as the ultimate trigger. It dictates exactly when the transmission of data should occur. (Example: "When a form is submitted,  push that user's profile data to Hubspot").

Custom Connections via Zapier & Webhooks

If your primary tool isn't listed in our native integrations below, you still have powerful options. Our dedicated Zapier integration unlocks an almost endless combination of possibilities, allowing you to route your data to thousands of other apps without writing a single line of code. Additionally, we offer full Webhook support for custom developer environments.
