Connect Zapier App
Connect Bread & Butter to thousands of other apps with our Zapier App, set up entirely inside Zapier.
In short: Zapier connects two ways. The Zapier App, covered here, is set up inside Zapier with an API key from Bread & Butter; there's no integration to create on our side. You choose which leads start the Zap, either a lead stage or a funnel you've saved, and the Zap receives the List: name, email and profile link, as soon as we capture the email address. To send the Intelligence Brief or Intelligence Stream to Zapier, use a Zapier Webhook instead.
Step 1: Get your API key
- In Bread & Butter, open Integrations, choose the Zapier tile, then Create via Zapier App.
- Click Generate Key.
- Copy the key. Click the eye icon to reveal it if needed. Keep it safe; you'll need it in Zapier.
Step 2: Build the Zap in Zapier

In Zapier, click + Create and choose Zap.

For the trigger, choose Bread & Butter as the app.

For Trigger event, select Lead Entered Funnel or Stage, then under Account click Select.
- In the window that opens, paste in the API key from step 1 and continue.

Click Continue to move to the next section.
In What to watch, choose which leads start the Zap:
- Your funnel: one of the funnels you've saved in Bread & Butter

Lead stages: a lead stage, such as Engaged Lead, using your own stage names
- Then click Continue.
- Click Test trigger and continue with the record it finds. No records yet? Fill in a form on your own website to create one.
- Set up your Zap's action (Zapier's guide) and publish the Zap.
Turning it off
Zapier App connections live in Zapier. To stop one, turn off or delete the Zap in Zapier.
