By installing Bread & Butter on your Hubspot site, you immediately begin tracking your top-of-funnel web traffic, deanonymizing visitors, and mapping out the complete user journey so your LeadScore AI can identify your most sales-ready prospects.

Deploying with Google Tag Manager?

If you already manage your scripts via Google Tag Manager, you can skip the steps below and add your Bread & Butter snippet directly to your GTM container instead. Click here for GTM instructions. Otherwise, follow the steps below to install it manually.


Installation Instructions

Step 1: Locate your Tracking Script

  1. Log in to your Bread & Butter Dashboard.
  2. Navigate to Settings > App & Domains.
  3. Add the sub domain you want to merge with your primary domain account.
  4. Locate the JavaScript tracking snippet provided on this page. Your unique App ID is already dynamically included in the code.
  5. Click to copy the entire snippet.

Step 2: Add Custom Code in HubSpot

  1. Log in to your HubSpot account.
  2. Click the Settings icon (gear) in the main navigation bar.
  3. In the left sidebar menu, navigate to Website > Pages.
  4. Choose the domain you want to modify from the "Choose a domain to edit" dropdown.
  5. Locate the Site header HTML box and paste the tracking script you copied in Step 1.

Step 3: Save and Publish

  1. Click Save at the bottom left to apply changes across your HubSpot pages.

Step 4: Verify Your Installation

  1. Open your live HubSpot website in a new browser tab or incognito window.
  2. Navigate back to your Bread & Butter Dashboard to verify that your active session is being recorded and your Lead Intelligence Engine is receiving data.

Troubleshooting

  • No Data in the Bread & Butter dashboard? Verify that your App ID is correct in the script.
  • Domain Check: Ensure your current HubSpot URL is listed under Settings > Advanced Settings > Website Domains in the Bread & Butter dashboard.
