Connecting your website is the first step to activating your Lead Intelligence Engine. By installing Bread & Butter on your Wix site, you immediately begin tracking your top-of-funnel web traffic, deanonymizing visitors, and mapping out the complete user journey so your LeadScore AI can identify your most sales-ready prospects.
(Note: Wix requires a connected Premium domain to add custom code).
Deploying with Google Tag Manager?
If you already manage your scripts via Google Tag Manager, you can skip the steps below and add your Bread & Butter snippet directly to your GTM container instead. Click here for GTM instructions. Otherwise, follow the steps below to install it manually.
Installation Instructions
Step 1: Locate your Tracking Script
- Log in to your Bread & Butter Dashboard.
- Navigate to Settings > App & Domains.
- Add the sub domain you want to merge with your primary domain account.
- Locate the JavaScript tracking snippet provided on this page. Your unique App ID is already dynamically included in the code.
- Click to copy the entire snippet.
Step 2: Add Custom Code in Wix
- Log in to your Wix dashboard and go to Settings.
- Scroll down and click on Custom Code (under the Advanced section).
- Click + Add Custom Code at the top right.
- Paste the tracking script you copied in Step 1 into the code box.
- Name the code "Bread & Butter", select All Pages (Load code once), and place the code in the Head.
Step 3: Save and Publish
- Click Apply to save and enable the code on your live site.
Step 4: Verify Your Installation
- Open your live Wix website in a new browser tab or incognito window.
- Navigate back to your Bread & Butter Dashboard to verify that your active session is being recorded and your Lead Intelligence Engine is receiving data.
Troubleshooting
- No Data in the Bread & Butter dashboard? Verify that your App ID is correct in the script.
- Domain Check: Ensure your current Wix URL is listed under Settings > Advanced Settings > Website Domains in the Bread & Butter dashboard.
