Release Notes v7.7
Release Date: August 15 2025 Version: 7.7
This release introduces significant enhancements to our Nurture AI system, a modernized Content Gate experience, and expanded controls for WordPress administrators.
Web App
New Features
Nurture AI Enhancements
- Nurture Draft "Versions": The frontend now creates a temporary "draft version" as soon as you change a delivery slip setting (like Intent or Context). This visual feedback makes it clear that your changes will be applied upon the next generation.
- Smart Dashboard Tiles: The dashboard "Big Square" for Insights has been updated. If you have Nurture drafts ready, it now displays a list of the top 8 candidates (similar to the Nurture page list) with a direct "View" button to take you to their profile.
- Expanded Source Icons: We've added specific icons and labels for new traffic sources: Social Visitor, GEO/AI Visitor (for AI traffic), Ad/Paid Visitor, and Email Campaign Visitor.
- Lead Status Control: You can now manually update a user's Lead Status directly from the top of the Nurture delivery slip.
Reporting & Analytics
- New Reports Page: A dedicated Reports page has been added to the left navigation.
- Attribution Report: The first report available is the Conversion Attribution Report, offering a detailed breakdown of conversions by source (Organic, Social, Paid, etc.) with drill-down capabilities to see specific referrers.
- Smart Column Display: In Conversion Reports, historical columns (e.g., "Last 90 Days") now only display data if the app has been active long enough to have valid data for that period, preventing confusion from empty states.
User Management
- New "User Management" Page: Added a new page for managing user-specific settings. Currently, this houses the CTA (Call to Action) configuration.
- Custom CTAs: You can now create, edit, and delete custom Call-to-Action buttons (e.g., "Schedule a Demo", "Book via Calendly"). These CTAs can be selected in the Nurture delivery slip to automatically insert the correct link and context into your AI-generated emails.
Improvements
- Send Nurture via Microsoft: You can now connect your Outlook/Microsoft account to send Nurture emails directly, just like the existing Gmail integration.
- Duplicate Send Protection: If you attempt to send a Nurture email to a recipient who was already messaged in the last 3 days, a "Duplicate Follow-up?" warning dialog will appear, allowing you to cancel or send anyway.
- Pricing Updates: Updated the Billing page and Upgrade dialogs to reflect our new pricing structure and visual design.
- Navigation Caching: The Dashboard and Nurture pages now "remember" your state (filters, search, scroll position) when you navigate away and come back, preventing the need to re-do your work.
Bug Fixes
- Gmail Error Handling: Fixed an issue where errors during the Gmail send process were not properly handled or displayed to the user.
- Salesforce Integration: Fixed a bug where the Salesforce OAuth popup would fail to close automatically after a successful connection.
- Provider Duplication: Resolved a UI glitch where the list of providers would sometimes duplicate itself when editing settings.
Backend & Data (API)
New Features
Smart Auto-Generate Logic
- Refined Triggers: We have updated the logic for auto-generating Nurture emails on session close.
- Frequency: Limit changed from 3 per day to 3 per week.
- Targeting: Always generates for the first 3 conversions. After that, it only generates for users with an Engagement Score > 5 AND a custom/business domain (filtering out generic Gmail/Hotmail addresses).
- Reset on Send: Sending a manual Nurture email resets the auto-generate counter, ensuring the queue stays fresh with high-quality leads.
Traffic Source Logic
- ChatGPT Exception: Adjusted traffic source logic to flag visitors as "AI" source if their only UTM parameter is
utm_source=chatgpt.com, even if no referrer is present. - Ads Logic: Updated "Ads" source logic to include anyone with
utm_mediumofcpc,banner, orpaidsearch, OR anyone with any UTM parameters (excluding email medium).
Data Quality
- WP-Admin Exclusion: Pages containing
/wp-admin/in the URL are now automatically excluded from "Top Pages" lists for Nurture generation, ensuring internal admin traffic doesn't confuse the AI. - Duplicate Page Cleanup: The Nurture data API now ignores trailing slashes and hashtags to prevent duplicate page entries (e.g.,
/pricingand/pricing/are now treated as the same page).
Improvements
- Sent Message Tracking: The system now records exactly how a Nurture email was sent (Gmail, Microsoft, etc.) and who sent it.
- Draft Auto-Save: Manually generated Nurture emails are now auto-saved immediately, preventing data loss if you navigate away before sending.
Bug Fixes
- Lead Status Errors: Fixed a
MongoWriteExceptionthat prevented Lead Status triggers from being created on new apps. - Send Test Error: Fixed a
device_id not founderror that was occurring during some test sends.
WordPress Plugin (WPP)
New Features
Dashboard Upgrades
- User Tiles: The WordPress Dashboard now displays User Tiles directly via an iframe from the Webapp. This gives you a live view of "Recent Visits" and "Recent Conversions" right inside WordPress.
- "Not Set Up" State: If the plugin is installed but not connected, the dashboard now shows a helpful "Get Started" view with placeholders and clear Call-to-Action buttons to connect your account.
Content Gate Facelift
- Modern Design: We have completely redesigned the configuration pages for Content Gate Classic, Content Gate Preview, and Content Gate Secure.
- New Layout: Improved spacing, headers, and image placement.
- Visual Styles: Updated checkbox styles to use green checkmarks and radio buttons to use slider toggles.
- 3rd Content Gate Updates: Added new configuration options for Content Gate Classic (3rd Gate), including custom colors (background, font, button) and a choice of 3 default images.
Settings Reorganization
-
New "Continue with Tool" Page: Moved all settings related to the "Continue with" tool to their own dedicated page in the left navigation under "Conversion Tools".
Menu Cleanup:
- Renamed "Display Settings" to "General Settings".
- Moved "User Event Setup" and "Custom Fields" from Advanced Settings to General Settings.
- Added a collapsible "More Tools" section to the left navigation to declutter the menu.
Bug Fixes
- Setup Loop: Fixed a bug where launching the "Setup Wizard" from Advanced Settings would incorrectly redirect users to the Dashboard instead of keeping them in the wizard flow.
- Mailchimp Save Error: Resolved an issue where saving Opt-in settings with Mailchimp enabled would throw a "Value must not be empty" error even when valid.
- Double Page Views: Fixed a bug causing two page views to be recorded for the first page visited in a new session.
