Webflow Installation

Add the Bread & Butter initialization browser-side script to the head tag. As part of this, you’ll need your APP ID. Don’t have a Bread & Butter account or APP? Create a free account now.

1. Get your Code Snippet
   1. Log in to your Bread & Butter Dashboard.
   2. Go to Settings > Advanced Settings.
   3. Copy the code snippet at the top of the page (your App ID is already included).
2. Add Custom Code in Webflow
   1. Open your Webflow Dashboard.
   2. Click the three dots (...) on your project thumbnail and select Settings.
   3. Select Custom Code from the left menu.
   4. Paste the code snippet you copied in Step 1 into the Head Code field.
   5. Save & Publish
3. Click Save Changes.
   1. Publish your website to make the changes live.

Success! Your website is now collecting data. Visit your website in a new browser tab, then check your Bread & Butter Dashboard to see your activity appear in real-time.

Troubleshooting:

• No Data in the Bread & Butter dashboard? Verify that your App ID is correct in the script.
• Domain Check: Ensure your current URL is listed under Settings > Advanced Settings > Website Domains in the Bread & Butter dashboard.

Pro Tip: This script is the foundation for all Bread & Butter features. Once installed, you can easily add tools like Content Gating directly from your dashboard.
