Understanding Deep Profile Enrichment
Bread & Butter uses advanced Deep Profile Enrichment and real-time tracking to build comprehensive profiles of your visitors and their organizations. Depending on where you are in the platform, this data is presented as either a high-level summary or modular, actionable highlights.
Part 1: Dashboard Visitor Profile
These sections are found on the main Visitor Profile dashboard. They provide narrative, high-level summaries and essential details designed to give your sales and marketing teams instant context on who the lead is and what they care about.
- Name: The visitor's first and last name. If they didn't explicitly provide their name during capture (for example, if they only provided an email address), our Profile Enrichment automatically works in the background to find and append it for you.
- Company Name: The organization the visitor works for or represents. Just like their name, if this isn't provided by the visitor, our system automatically identifies and adds it to their profile based on their email and web presence.
- Position or Role: The visitor's current job title or professional role. Our Deep Profile Enrichment automatically sources this information so your team knows exactly who they are talking to and what their buying power might be.
- Profile Summary: A high-level, AI-generated overview of the individual visitor, gathering professional context from across the web, including but not limited to LinkedIn.
- Company Summary: A consolidated overview of the visitor's organization, explaining what the company does, its industry, and its market positioning.
- User Journey Summary: A narrative explanation of how this specific visitor has interacted with your brand, connecting their various touchpoints into a cohesive story. Our advanced heat maps are at play here, utilizing the visitor's lead score and page engagement score to help drive and focus this summary on what truly caught their attention.
Part 2: The Nurture Section
These sections are found in your Nurture workflows. Rather than narrative paragraphs, these are specific, bulleted data points. You can select individual bullets to automatically inject highly personalized context into your generated nurture emails.
- Profile Highlights: Actionable, selectable facts about the individual visitor. These insights range from professional milestones (like their current role, recent promotions, awards, achievements, publications, and public skills) to personal touchpoints (like hobbies, volunteer work, and causes they care about).
- Company Highlights: Selectable, bite-sized facts about the organization. This includes foundational details (like their founding year, core offerings, and industry niche) as well as timely milestones (such as recent product launches, awards, recognitions, honorable mentions, and corporate donations).
- Pages Visited: A list of the specific web pages this visitor spent time on across your site. To help you prioritize what they care about most, we automatically rank their top three pages based on their overall page engagement score. (Note: We filter out instant bounces to keep this list highly relevant).
- User Journey Events: A selectable timeline of specific actions the visitor took, such as submitting a form, clicking a specific CTA, or downloading a resource. These key actions directly influence their overall lead score, helping you instantly gauge their intent and readiness to buy.
- Company Employees: A list of key public contacts and leadership at the visitor's organization, useful for multi-threading your sales approach.
- In The News: Recent press releases, announcements, or news articles about the company. These are excellent triggers for timely, personalized outreach.
Why might a section have no results?
Occasionally, you might see an empty state or a message indicating that no data was found for a specific section. When this happens, it means our Deep Profile Enrichment actively searched for the information but hit a roadblock. This usually occurs for one of two reasons:
- The data doesn't exist: The company might be in stealth mode, the visitor might not have a public digital footprint, or there simply aren't any recent news announcements to pull.
- The data is inconclusive: Sometimes, we find too many people with the exact same name or conflicting information, making it impossible to confidently link an email address to a single, verified profile.
Our Philosophy: We prioritize quality and accuracy above all else. If the data is missing, confusing, or ambiguous, our AI refuses to guess. We would much rather return no results than risk providing you with false or misleading information.
